Cubs win 2010 25+ American Division Championship
|
|
he Cubs defeat the Brewers 7-6 to win the 2010 American League Championship. The Brewers got on the board with a run in the top of the first. The Cubs answered with 5 in the bottom of the second. It was 7-2 going into the last inning when the Brewers scored 4 getting within 1 run before loading the bases with one out. But the rally was ended when Nick Robinson caught a fly ball in left and gunned a runner attempting to score the tying run to end the game in dramatic fashion.
Stan Kwasny pitched 6 1/3 innings for the victory. Willie Olivo got the final outs to record the save.
